The Mountfield SP185 self-propelled lawn mower is powered by the 139cc Stiga ST140 Autochoke OHV engine. The large 60-litre grass collector comes with a bag full warning indicator so you can see when it needs emptying. With the mulching plug fitted there is no need to collect the grass as it recycles the clippings onto the lawn for a natural fertiliser.
The Autochoke system on the engine automatically sets the choke to give optimum starting and running in all cutting conditions

Please Note:These lawnmowers are designed to cut grass no longer than 12cm at the time.Â
Please use a strimmer before using the lawnmower if the grass is longer than 12cm. Should the grass be longer than the specified length, the blade mounting boss will shear off, preventing further substantial damage to the engine/crank. Also, if the blade hits a hard surface, ie a stone, concrete edge, tree stump, the blade mounting will come off, this is as well a safety feature to prevent further serious damage to the engine. If this occurs, it is not covered by warranty, as it’s classed as misuse or accidental damage. We can supply the necessary spare parts to repair the damage, at cost price.
Adjustable cutting heights range from 25mm for a superb low finish, up to 65mm for tackling longer grass.
All this is achieved by using the single height of cut adjustment lever. Depending on the height of your grass, you can easily and efficiently adjust the cutting height to suit.
The 60 litre grass bag is made from a robust, high quality fabric. warning indicator so you can see when it needs emptying.
SILVER GRADE-REFURBISHED GRADE B
Silver-graded products are GRADE B REFURBISHED to meet manufacturer’s specifications. They will show signs of previous use, with cosmetic imperfections but otherwise in great condition, offering excellent value for money. Have been inspected, tested and are fully working, Cleaned to a high standard, repainted when needed, blades sharpened/balanced. Will come in original packaging or repackaged by our professionals in plain carboard box. Covered by 30 days warranty.

FREE RETURNS/REPLACEMENTS-30 days
If your order has been received in error, damaged or defective, we will organise a replacement /swap out free of charge.
RETURN CHARGES
If a machine has been purchased and is no longer required, within 30 days, the machine can be returned for a refund. There are charges for the initial delivery and collection plus a 10% restocking fee.
Where a replacement product is required, our policy is to receive the return of the original product, inspect it to confirm the condition is as advised before a replacement is sent.
If the product has been used and returned during the 30-day period, the amount of the refund will depend on the item’s condition and on any damage from use, cosmetic or otherwise.
We ask that returned items come back in original packaging. If they are not, and other packaging and collection services are needed, you must pay the extra costs.Â
We send out refunds as soon as possible but no later than 7 days of us agreeing to your refund providing your goods are returned to us. You are responsible for looking after the product until we collect it/receive it back.
Any item found not to be faulty or has been misused will be subject to a charge. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you have to hire a machine whilst your equipment is being repaired, neither The Mower Shack, nor the manufacturer of your equipment are liable, or will compensate for any hire charges that you may incur.
You must keep all boxes or pallets for up to 14 days after delivery. Failure to do this will incur a charge to supply and deliver a replacement.
